On the morning of June 12, 2026, Professor Shi Yuanyuan, Chairman and General Manager of the Cell Valley Group, together with Li Weiwei, General Manager of Qiaogang Cell Valley (Wuhan), led a delegation to Hubei Third People's Hospital for a special visit and exchange. They were accompanied by Lu Cuiling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Qiaokou District People's Congress; Zhang Shen, Second-Level Researcher of the District Health Bureau; and Yu Chunbo, Director of the Investment Planning Department of the District Health Service Task Force. The leadership team of Hubei Third People's Hospital and heads of relevant clinical and research departments participated in the symposium.

The exchange focused on in-depth discussions around topics including clinical research and translation pathways for emerging biomedical technologies, compliance filing strategies under the context of the "818 New Policy," entry points for cooperation with key clinical departments, and coordinated development of the regional health industry. The three parties – government, enterprise, and medical institution – unanimously agreed that the guiding role of government, the clinical resources of hospitals, and the technological platform advantages of enterprises should be fully leveraged to accelerate the standardized application and translational implementation of frontier biomedical technologies in clinical settings.
At the outset of the exchange, Lu Cuiling, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Qiaokou District People's Congress, provided an update on the latest progress of the Qiaogang Cell Valley project. As a key strategic foothold for the Cell Valley Group in Central China and a flagship enterprise in the cell therapy industry chain that Qiaokou District has prioritized for introduction and cultivation, the project has now officially selected its site in Hanjiangwan, with site selection and agreement signing already completed and the project currently in the interior design phase. Going forward, Qiaogang Cell Valley will be developed into a regional public service platform integrating cell manufacturing, quality control release, R&D incubation, and other functions, providing robust support for medical institutions in Wuhan to conduct clinical research, technology application, and result translation in cell and gene therapy.
Professor Shi Yuanyuan then systematically introduced the Cell Valley Group's full-chain scientific research service platform and core technological advantages. The Cell Valley Group has built an integrated platform capability covering antibody screening, viral vector manufacturing, cell product production, quality control, and clinical translation support. It has amassed a rich target cell bank and established mature technology systems in NK cell manufacturing, diversified exosome R&D, and immune cell therapy, which can be precisely tailored to meet the clinical research and scientific project needs of multiple hospital departments.
Against the backdrop of the implementation of Decree No. 818,Professor Shi Yuanyuan highlighted the new landscape and opportunities facing clinical research and translation of emerging biomedical technologies. He noted that Hubei Third People's Hospital, with its abundant clinical resources and distinctive disciplinary strengths, represents an important clinical setting for advancing the translational application of frontier biomedical technologies. The Cell Valley Group is willing to leverage the Qiaogang Cell Valley platform to engage in full-process cooperation with the hospital on project design, technical support, filing and application, and translation implementation, focusing on priority diseases and areas of strength, thereby facilitating the standardized and efficient delivery of cell and gene therapy technologies to meet clinical needs.
Fang Liang, President of Hubei Third People's Hospital, stated that the "818 New Policy" has brought significant development opportunities for clinical research and translation of emerging biomedical technologies. The hospital places great importance on the Cell Valley Group's comprehensive capabilities in platform development, technology R&D, quality systems, and project translation, and hopes to initiate substantive project cooperation in key areas including neurology and rehabilitation, pain management, respiratory medicine, and dermatology, striving to establish the hospital's first filing project for clinical research on emerging biomedical technologies.
During the symposium, the Cell Valley Group team also held in-depth, oneonone exchanges with heads of relevant clinical departments at the hospital, engaging in detailed discussions on specific issues including clinical pain points, indication selection, technology pathways, project design, and filing implementation, laying a solid foundation for subsequent collaboration.
Going forward, under the guidance and support of the Qiaokou District government, the Cell Valley Group will further establish a close cooperation mechanism with Hubei Third People's Hospital, accelerating substantive collaboration on clinical research, technology application, compliance filing, and result translation. The two sides will jointly build a new model of industry-academia-research-medicine integration driven by clinical demand, supported by technology R&D, and underpinned by an industrial platform – achieving resource sharing and mutual complementarity – and injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the health industry in Qiaokou District and Wuhan as a whole.
