Accompanied by Director of the General Administration Office Luan Zhishi and Deputy Head of R&D Sun Rui, the visiting guests toured Shenzhen Cell Valley's smart exhibition hall, administrative office area, production workshops, and R&D laboratories, gaining an understanding of the founder team, corporate development history, CAR-T development history, service platform construction, the scale of the South China Cell Factory project, and the layout of laboratories and production workshops. A symposium was subsequently held.

During the symposium, Deputy General Manager Xiang Hua extended a warm welcome to the leaders and entrepreneurs from Beijing Chaoyang District. Deputy Head of R&D Sun Rui provided a detailed explanation of the industry background of cell and gene therapy, market development trends, the advantages of the company's core technology—GMP industrial-scale production of retroviral vectors—and the philosophy behind service platform construction. Director Yang Hongfu and Deputy Director Wang Xi of the Management Committee of Chaoyang Park, Zhongguancun Science Park, Beijing Chaoyang District, affirmed Shenzhen Cell Valley's achievements in the cell and gene therapy field. The two parties engaged in discussion and exchange on technological innovation, pharmaceutical and health, talent cultivation, preferential policies, regional industrial development characteristics, and development trends in the cell and gene therapy industry.

The establishment of Shenzhen Cell Valley's R&D headquarters in Beijing will open up the cell and gene therapy industry chain layout between Beijing and Shenzhen, and between the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It will maximize the rational utilization of policy resources and talent transfer, fully leverage the respective resource advantages of both regions, establish more comprehensive mechanisms in achievement translation capabilities, education and training systems, and professional technical applications, and promote the high-quality development of the biopharmaceutical industry.
