On April 27, our Chairman Shi Yuanyuan was invited to attend the fifth session of the "Meet Pingshan · Foresee the Future" Industrial Chain Innovation Salon, hosted by the Organization Department of the Pingshan District Committee and organized by the Pingshan District High-Level Talent Association. Also attending the event were Dr. Xiao Ping, Director of the Peking University Clinical Research Institute (Shenzhen) and former Vice President of Peking University Shenzhen Hospital; Dr. Wang Mingjun, CEO of Shenzhen Innova Immune Co., Ltd.; Li Hongjian, Chairman of Shenzhen Pregene Biopharma Co., Ltd.; and more than 30 expert representatives and investors from relevant fields in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as responsible officials from the Organization Department of the Pingshan District Committee, the Pingshan District Science and Technology Innovation Service Center, and other departments.
The salon focused on topics related to Pingshan's three leading industries and centered on the theme "Development and Future of the Cell and Gene Therapy Industry," discussing the most cutting-edge development strategies. Participants sorted out the core issues across the entire cell and gene therapy industry chain, proposed corresponding solutions, and promoted collaborative linkages among Pingshan's industrial chains.

Our Chairman Shi Yuanyuan stated that the next ten years will be the decade of the most rapid change in China's pharmaceutical field, during which China will comprehensively complete the all-round restructuring of the pharmaceutical industry chain, with platform development being the top priority. Currently, the cell industry remains in a stage of fragmented efforts—numerous but not strong. Pharmaceutical companies face long cycles from R&D to production, shortages of manpower, resources, and capital, and insufficiently smooth communication bridges with clinical and regulatory bodies. Therefore, it is necessary to build stronger one-stop outsourcing service platforms to help pharmaceutical companies solve these challenges, thereby continuously adding momentum to the biopharmaceutical industry.
The salon atmosphere was lively, with participating representatives expressing their views freely. With the aim of promoting the high-quality development of Pingshan's cell and gene industry, they shared common challenges encountered in academic research, industrial development, and investment, along with successful experiences and suggestions. Together, they contributed to enhancing the innovation capacity of the entire industrial chains of Pingshan's three leading industries, focusing on stabilizing, supplementing, strengthening, extending, and controlling the industrial chain, aligning with Shenzhen's "20+8" industries and Pingshan's "9+2" industrial cluster deployment, building Pingshan's hardcore competitiveness, and promoting the high-quality development of the biopharmaceutical industry.
