On the morning of January 13, 2023, Shi Yuanyuan, Chairman of Shenzhen Cell Valley, visited the construction site of the Zone B expansion project of its subsidiary Guangdong Junhou Biomedical Co., Ltd. to inspect the progress of the project. Group Deputy General Manager Xiang Hua, Assistant to the Chairman Wei Zheng, Junhou Bio Executive President Yang Borui, Vice President Feng Yaru, and Head of Logistics Shi Yunzhu accompanied the inspection.

The Zone B expansion project of Junhou Bio is located in the Zhongshan National Health Base and is proceeding on schedule with close coordination among the construction party, supervisory party, and other stakeholders. Chairman Shi Yuanyuan emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong awareness of production safety and adhering to the "two highs and two guarantees" construction principle—high quality, high standards, safety, and meticulous attention—to ensure the orderly progress of the project, the smooth and steady advancement of all construction activities, and the earliest possible commencement of production and operations.

The Zone B expansion project of Junhou Bio is expected to be completed simultaneously with the Shenzhen Cell – South China Cell Factory by the end of February 2023, with official production slated to commence in March. By then, the South China Cell Factory will have built a 5,000-square-meter integrated production service platform, including GMP industrial-scale production lines for retroviral vectors and CAR-T/CAR-NK cell products, office areas, a smart exhibition hall, training lecture halls, and large conference rooms. Junhou Bio will have established over 1,500 square meters of B+A, C+A, and other GMP-compliant viral vector and cell product production workshops. Together, Shenzhen Cell Valley and its subsidiary Junhou Bio will undertake core technology development in the cell and gene therapy field, achieve high-capacity, high-quality modern production, build a premier service platform in the biopharmaceutical sector, and jointly contribute to the high-quality development of the industry.
